Why I believe social media could leave us with more

More inspiration. More useful discoveries. More meaningful connections. More reasons to actually do something with what we find.

That belief became Inspirtag

Kerrie Humphrys

Founder of Inspirtag

I didn't want another place to scroll.

I wanted somewhere that made the time we spend online feel worthwhile.

Like most people, I’ve watched social media become an incredible place for creativity, connection and opportunity.

But I’ve also watched it become louder.

More comparison.

More distraction

More pressure to perform.

More content competing for attention.

And somewhere in all of that, something important became harder to find.

The people, ideas, businesses and experiences that can genuinely help us move forward.

I started to imagining what social media might look like we built around that instead.

Not around keeping people scrolling.

Around helping people discover something worth acting on.

That idea became Inspirtag.

Inspiration should lead somewhere

You discover a Creator.

You save something useful.

You find a Business.

You ask a Question.

You try something new.

Something in your world changes.

That is what Inspirtag is being built for.

The principles behind what we're building.

The idea became something real.

Inspirtag is being built around one simple journey.

The technology matters.

But the reason behind it matters more.

Meet Kerrie

Inspirtag wasn’t born from a straight line and neither was I.

I’ve moved from different chapters, roles and ideas. And reinvention has been a recurring part of my own story.

Every chapter taught me something about people, what inspires us, what makes us doubt ourselves, what helps us grow, and how powerful the right person, idea or opportunity can be at the right moment.

Eventually those experiences began pointing towards the same question.

“What if we built an online space around helping people find more of those moments?”

Inspirtag is my answer to the question.

And we are only at the beginning.

Inspirtag starts with an idea.

But what it becomes will be shaped by the people who join it.

Members who want better things to discover.

Creators with knowledge and experience worth sharing.

Businesses genuinely helping people solve problems and improve their lives.

There’s a place for you here.
